Pitzer requires TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo scores from any applicant whose native language is not English. Applicants who have studied in an English-speaking curriculum for 4+ years may submit a testing waiver request through the Pitzer International Programs Office.

Penn State Fall 2019 application is now available!

Penn State’s application for summer and fall 2019 is now available online at admissions.psu.edu, the Coalition Application, and the Common Application. Students only need to submit one application, through one of these systems, to Penn State. Students interested in applying Early Action need to submit their application material byNovember 1 (receive a decision by December 24). This is not Early Decision. Early Action students will continue to have until May 1 to make their decision. For students not choosing Early Action, they should apply by our Priority Filing Date ofNovember 30 (receive a decision by January 31). In either Early Action or Priority Filing, students will have the best chance of receiving admission to their first-choice campus and major. Admission to Penn State becomes more competitive after November 30. As an additional reminder, the complete application is made up of the application, standardized test scores, and the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR). Test score…

With Miami University’s application for Fall 2019 (August) admission now available, here is some important information about our admission process.

We are proud to offer two merit-based scholarships for new first-year international students. All new first-year undergraduate international students who submit completed applications and meet the requirements for full admission for Fall 2019 are automatically considered for the International Education Scholarship and the University Merit Scholarship. Miami University scholarships are highly competitive and, thus, not guaranteed. For scholarship ranges, see the table below.

UC Admission Application for Fall 2019 is now open!

The fall 2019 University of California admission application is available. Applications can be submitted between Nov. 1-30.

The latest version of "Presenting Yourself on the UC Application" are also available. These will provide you guidance on how applicants can maximize opportunities to represent themselves on the application.

Georgia Tech 2019 First-Year Application Is Available Now!

The 2019 application for first-year students became available this week. Here's what you need to know:

The Early Action (EA) deadline (non-binding) is October 15.  We accept the Common Application and the Coalition Application, with no preference given to one application over the other. (We are application agnostic.) We accept the SAT or ACT. (We are testing agnostic.)There are two Georgia Tech supplemental questions.The Stamps President's Scholarship, Honors Program, and Scheller Dean's Scholarships all require students to apply by the EA deadline for consideration.We will release EA decisions Saturday, January 12, 2019.

Extra Materials - What Should I Submit With My Application?

We want to know about all the amazing things you do and have already accomplished. Although there is not a space to upload portfolios, videos and similar files directly to your application, we encourage you to note your accomplishments in the Activities/Experience section of MyCoalition.This section of the application is the equivalent of your resume and we do not accept these files via email. Take a look at the Freshmen Application Checklist for a full list of required materials needed with your application.

California College of the Arts (CCA) offers STEM programs

We wanted to let you know about the STEM programs available at California College of the Arts (CCA).

Our undergraduate Animation BFA is a STEM program. This major covers everything from traditional animation to computer animation to stop motion animation and more. Like all of our programs, the faculty from the Animation department works also work in places like Tippett Studio and Pixar.

Both the undergraduate Interaction Design (IxD) BFA program and the graduate Master of Design (MDeS) in Interaction Design program fall under STEM. Interaction Design is a relatively new field and focuses on making technology more meaningful, usable and delightful. These students learn to do things like create mobile experiences, reinvent social networks and more.

All of our Architecture programs, including the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch), Master of Architecture (MArch), and Master of Advanced Architectural Design (MAAD) are STEM programs. These programs are also accredited by the National Archite…

Mark your calendars: 1st annual CAT College Fair!

G9-12 students and parents are strongly encouraged to attend the 1st annual Counseling Association of Taiwan (CAT) College Fair, to be held at Taipei American School on Saturday, September 15 from 2-5pm. The event is free. At present, 133 universities from 16 countries have registered for the fair. This is an unique opportunity to learn more about college admissions and meet directly with representatives. Don't miss out!

Students should review the application checklist to ensure their application is complete and all required documents have been submitted by the appropriate deadline. Please note, it is the student's responsibility to confirm receipt of all application materials. Students can refer to their MyCoalition checklist for status updates on their application.

The Priority Deadline is November 1, 2018. They strongly recommend students apply by the priority deadline to receive best consideration for admission to the university, merit-based scholarships and invitations to special programs.
